Market Opportunities

Today’s environment contains many sources of microbial contamination, both natural and man-made, that are the cause of great concern. Contaminants can be the origin of minor infection or potentially the source of life threatening illness. In recent years, the public has become much more aware of this threat, and regularly seek assurance that the chance of disease transmission is minimized. Increased awareness by the medical and lay communities of the potential of disease transmission, with growing pressure to reduce this potential, have resulted in a market for decontamination produces totaling well over a billion dollars per year.

In response to this continually increasing market, products designed to kill potential contaminants are currently available. These products touch all areas of our lives, reaching from the household to the hospital. Decontaminants are commonly used by the medical, veterinary, aviation, janitorial, food service and the leisure (hotels and cruise ships) industries, as well as the military. However, the vast majority of these products represent challenges to the environment as evidenced by the warnings on their labels. This conflict between efficacy and safety has resulted in a dilemma for the consumer, and an opportunity for EnviroSystems, Inc.

EnviroSystems is directed by its mission to become a worldwide leader in the development and commercialization of products designed to prevent infectious disease without harming the environment. ESI will deploy its technology and resources to reduce biological risks without introducing the attendant chemical risks that are so prevalent today.

Through an effective distribution network, in combination with a direct sales effort, it is our plan to penetrate markets such as Healthcare, Dental, Leisure, Aviation, Janitorial, Military and Government.

The hospital market alone is reported to spend in excess of $1 billion on infection control products. With a bed count of approximately 655,000 (U.S. only), not including the number of surgery centers outside of the hospital, the business opportunity for ESI in this area is sure to grow quickly. The dental market also represents significant business for ESI. It has been reported that the 150,000 dentists in the U.S. spend approximately $40 million in infection prevention products. A concern about SARS, TB, Avian Flu and other contaminants has the airline industry scrambling to find an effective product that will kill these microbes. It is also of great importance that such a product remain non-corrosive on their expensive and critical equipment, while being safe for their employees who handle the product, and the passengers that fly on their aircraft. Add the many other markets to these mentioned here and you will see there is a very bright future for EnviroSystems Inc.
